COVID-19 delivery updates

How We Are Responding to COVID-19

The safety of our customers, florists, and couriers are our top priority. Restriction apply During Christmas period final delivery day in the 23rd December as couriers are unavailable on 24- 27th december. This is an unprecedented time, and we want to communicate with you how we are dealing with COVID-19. We have temporarily made some updates to our floral design and delivery process. For further details, please read on below.

Contactless Delivery

In the current covid-19 restrictions and safety we are unable  to deliver in Melbourne but can deliver in Macedon Ranges. We will continue using our best to resources to utilise contact less delivery ensuring every ones  safety especially your loved ones. This means that we will either call the recipient first and notify them of the upcoming delivery and arrange to leave the flowers at the door or they will knock on the door, move away and leave the flowers on the doorstep, maintaining social distancing rules as they communicate with the recipient.

Temporary Substitution Policy

Due to flower supply challenges across the country we have recently had to reduce our regular range. Currently florists are having difficulty sourcing roses, natives, and tropical blooms, but flower supply does vary from state to state. As a result it may be necessary for your florist to substitute some or all of your flowers using a mix of their freshest in-store blooms. This may happen even when you’ve selected a specific design from our website. Melbourne City Florist will do our very  best to create something as close as possible to the design and value your order but at times this might not be possible and even colour palette may vary.

Please support all small businesses in Melbourne Victoria including Melbourne City Florist as we facing very challenging times
